If you are a fan of science fiction then you know what a genetic mutation is. And in real life it means any sudden change in DNA—deoxyribonucleic acid, the genetic blueprint for an organism—that creates a change in an organism's appearance, behavior, or health.
Genetic mutation ca occur naturally - due to the radiation or some other impact on DNA, or intentionally, by scientists.
Scientists change DNA sequences by deliberately changing and removing
pieces of DNA to see the effect on individual cells in a vessel, or even
on an entire animal as in this cow.
